The Parlor Series

book picture.jpeg

Men and women are separated to achieve permanent peace. No competition, no jealousy, no love. But what if everything you thought to be true, was just a facade to enforce compliance?

Andrea is in her final year of school; the year each woman meets a man for the first time. Reluctant to participate and meet the expectations of her community, she decides to try and understand this unfamiliar gender for herself before partaking in her breeding duties. Andrea soon realizes that she has been living a life of ignorant bliss. With newfound truths planted in her mind, Andrea must choose to continue leading her ordinary life, or try to rebalance the scales of gender equality. However, even doing the right thing has its own consequences.

My Story

I'm a lifelong Indiana resident who spent a semester working in Disney World and one in Heilbronn, Germany while pursuing my degree in Tourism and Event Management. Although I work full time running a venue in Mooresville, Indiana, my main job is taking care of my family of four. Between my professional and maternal life, I somehow find time to write.

I began writing in 2017 after my daughter was born 13 weeks premature. Her three month stay in the NICU felt less stressful when I was lost in writing. Though I'm not an author by trade, I find comfort in creating new worlds and sharing them with others.

I hope you enjoy my unique stories! Don't forget to leave a review when you are finished! I really do enjoy hearing your thoughts and read EVERY SINGLE REVIEW (even the ones that sting a little).
